By ticking the box on the welcome screen or using the YeahBut app ("App"), you agree to these Terms.
1. A game, not healthcare
YeahBut is a comedy mindset and habit game for everyday overthinking and procrastination. It is not a medical device, therapy, counselling or a healthcare service, and it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Please talk to a qualified professional about any health concern, and do not delay seeking advice because of something in the App.
YeahBut is not a crisis service. If you are thinking about suicide, self-harm or abuse, stop using the App and contact local emergency services or a helpline: 14416 (India), 988 (US and Canada), 111 / 999 (UK), 13 11 14 (Australia), or findahelpline.com worldwide.
2. Fictional AI characters
Every character in the App (such as Barnaby the Whinepede and Count Couch-Lock) is a fictional, automated software character. You are never talking to a human inside the App.
3. Adults only
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if higher.
4. Free tier, Pro and purchases
- The core game is free, with a cool-down of 30 minutes after 5 completed battles in an hour.
- YeahBut Pro (monthly, yearly or one-time lifetime) is billed through Google Play. Prices are shown in your local currency before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal in your Google Play subscription settings. Free trials, where offered, convert to paid unless cancelled at least 24 hours before they end.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.
- Any future cloud-voice feature will have fair-use limits shown in the App before you use it. Reaching a limit never removes your access: the App falls back to on-device audio.
5. Sharing and acceptable use
When you export a share card, "Privacy Swap" is on by default and replaces your own words with a preset excuse. If you turn it off, you are responsible for what you share. Do not reverse-engineer the App, abuse its servers, or use it to produce unlawful, harassing or defamatory content.
6. Liability and governing law
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 / US$15 if you used only the free tier). Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law in your country. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka having jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
